Jacob C Emmer

Jacob Charles Emmer entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of the late Elsie Gena Emmer. Son of the late Rodney Jules Emmer and the late Bertha Lucille Deyherle Emmer. Father of Christopher (Denise), Edwin (Lauren), and Michael (Mandy). Grandfather of Edwin, Ian, Andrew, Connor, and Dalton. Brother of the late Rodney Emmer. Jacob was the retired owner of Emmer and Company and was a 32 year member of the Endymion Carnival Club. He was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of Metairie, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Yellowstone Park Foundation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Schoen Funeral Home, New Orleans, LA on February 7th from 9 am to 11 am. Interment will follow in St. Vincent De Paul #1 Cemetery, New Orleans, LA. SCHOEN FUNERAL HOME, 3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA in charge of arrangements.
