Jane Marie Hoogerwerf

HOOGERWERF, Jane Marie Fuller, a native of New Orleans, LA who resided in Pass Christian, MS, died Friday, July 8, 2011 at age 60. She was born to the late Kathryne Dorman Fuller & Montzl A. Fuller. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Stanley Hoogerwerf; two children, Stephen Hoogerwerf & Kathryne Hoogerwerf; & two brothers, William Fuller & Thomas Fuller. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Margaret Fuller Ruth. She graduated from Ursuline Academy & attended the University of New Orleans & Tulane University. She retired from AT&T as a division-level corporate trainer, & at the time of her passing, she was a realtor with Prudential Gardner working in the Garden District office in New Orleans & in the Biloxi, MS office. In her youth, Jane was an outstanding athlete excelling in volleyball & basketball & became a passionate & devoted fan of the Saints & Hornets, attending almost all of their games. She loved to travel & enjoyed seeing new places. She was devoted to her family & caring & concerned with her many friends and clients. All those who had the privilege of knowing her personally or professionally will miss her. Relatives & friends of Jane & her family are invited to attend a funeral service at 2:30pm on Tuesday, 12 July at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. Visitation will be held on Monday, 11 July from 6 to 9pm & prior to the funeral service from 12:30 to 2:30pm at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home. Interment will be at Metairie Cemetery.
