   This is beyond all understanding, this is too sad, we are so, so sorry. 
    I saw the pictures, I felt him in my mind; I saw your happiness and pride in him. I saw him as I did in pre-school. It all came back to me in a flash.   Such a wonderful child, such a wonderful son.  I saw a loving, caring heart when I saw him again as a man.

I was so sorry to hear about Kevin's passing. He was a good kid and a good friend from a great family, all of whom always laughed at my jokes and cartoons (even the ones that sucked). I was even prouder to know that he dedicated his life and career to serving the city that I call my hometown.

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss.  Through thick and thin, Kevin was always, and always will be a true Scout and a true friend of mine.  I will never forget the times he and I shared together when we were involved with Troop 150.  Gosh, I remember he and I started off in the same Patrol together in the Troop.  I will miss him so very much, and he and the rest of you are, and always will, remain in my Prayers during this time of hardship.  God Bless you all.

To Kevin's family, I am deeply saddened by the loss of your dear Kevin. Although I only knew him a short time, he was quite dear to me. I will always remember how sweet and honorable Kevin was when he visited my home for family activities with my son and fellow firefighters. Kevin was at the hospital before me to visit my son after surgery for a service related operation. He was always so kindhearted and gentle when I saw him. He will certainly be missed by our family. My prayers are with you.

We will always remember Kevin as the caring, courteous, and fun-loving  young man that was such an integral part of the success of Troop 150 during his tenure there, including the short time that our sons were involved. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. We were shocked to hear of Kevin's passing. I managed Thibodaux Apartments when he and Mary lived there. My husband Dustin and Kevin became friends, and Kevin even joined the HH&L Vol. Fire Dept with him. We were so proud to see that he joined the NOFD. Although we lost touch over the last couple of years, he will be greatly missed. Just know that he left a trail of fond memories behind, and that is something that you can cherish always.
