Father of Daryl Curry, Stephanie Guidroz, Daphanie Curry, Jamie Keyes, Eddie McIntyre, Connie McIntyre, Alex Fos, and the late Robert Walter Curry, Jr., and Robert Walter Curry, III.

Loving son of Lorraine Tabary Curry and the late Heustis Lipsey Curry, Sr.

Brother of Heustis “Buddy” Lipsey Curry, Jr.

Also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Smokey was the former owner of the Smoke House Restaurant on Canal Blvd., Geno’s Speak Easy & Disco Fat City, Parade’s Restaurant, and The Turtle Lounge.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA on Friday, October 12, 2012 from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM. Followed by a funeral Mass at 12:30 PM.

Interment will be in Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
