Anthony Vincent Mucci

Anthony V. Mucci, a former New Rochelle, resident passed away on September 28, 2010. He was 78 years old. Born in New Rochelle on December 27, 1931, Anthony was the son of the late John & Lucy Mucci Sr. from Campobasso, Italy. He was the devoted husband of Marian Michelsen Mucci and had just celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary. Anthony was the loving father of Kathleen Valentino, Michael Mucci and Jennifer Mucci-Cruz and had five grandchildren Jaclyn, George, Benjamin, Maxwell and Paige, whom he adored. He is also survived by his sister Theresa Albero and brother Frank Mucci and was predeceased by his brother John Mucci Jr. Anthony’s employment began with his brother-in-law at the Post Road Electric Company of New Rochelle and continued with the Jet Vending in Pelham. He also had his own home improvement company which he took great pride in. Anthony was an Army Veteran and was the Past Commander of the American Legion Post 347 in Larchmont. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, vacationing in Montauk and baking apple pies. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday from

2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the George T. Davis Funeral Home with a Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday 9:30 a.m. at the Holy Name of Jesus Church. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Rosary Hill Home, Hawthorne or the Greenwich Hospital Hospice.
