She had fulfillment in being a Charter Member of Clinch Valley American Christian Church. She perceived this New Church as God’s instructions to “spread the gospel to the ends of the earth” and was thankful God allowed her this privilege.
She is preceded in death by her Mother: Hazel Parker Hill Wolfenbarger. Father: Carl Hill. Husband: Dale Epperson, the love of her life for 35 years. Cecil Pillion her beloved second husband of 19 years. Grandson Army SPC Michael Dale Epperson. Sister Patricia Sharpe. Son-in-law Kenneth H Brooks.
She is survived by her children: Diane Brooks; Freda (Rick) Crutchfield and Keith (Vicki) Epperson. Granddaughter Amber Brooks (Joey) Allgood. Great grandsons: Jax and Jonah Allgood. Sisters: Faye Hurst; Brenda Sue Cupp. Brother: Guin Wolfenbarger. Beautician and special niece Tammy Petty. As well as a loving community of friends.
Mother’s life consisted of hard work, perseverance, Love of the Lord, family and friends. Her last and longest employment was in public transportation with ETHRA-Dial-A-Ride. She made a special bond with her passengers as they became good friends. She loved them as they did her. As a member of the Tazewell Senior Citizens she made lasting friendships much like love of family. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, eating out and Bingo.

The family will receive friends at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell, Tn. on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 2:00 until 3:00 pm. Funeral services following at 3:00 pm. with immediate interment to follow in Fair View Cemetery, New Tazewell, Tn.
