Byron Keith Burger

Byron was a proud member of Straight Creek Missionary Baptist Church. For over forty years he got to do the job he loved as a commercial electrician. The most important thing in Byron's life was his family, but he had a special soft spot for his granddaughter. Byron also loved his fur babies Tucker, Harley, and Zoey.

He was the son of the late William and Nancy Burger of Cumming, GA. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Jim and Becky Dotson, son Brandon Peck, and fur babies Rebel, Butch, and Star.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years Christi Dotson Burger of New Tazewell, TN. Son Jason Peck and girlfriend Jessie of Gainsville, GA. Daughter Nicole (Ken) Shock of Bybee, TN. Granddaughter Aleah Shock of Bybee, TN. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law Josh and Donna Dotson of Flowery Branch, GA. Nephews Corbin and Carter Dotson of Flowery Branch, TN. Fur babies Tucker, Harley, and Zoey. As well as many special friends.

Family will receive friends on Saturday August 9, 2025 from 1 until 3 PM at Straight Creek Baptist Church New Tazewell
