Carlie “Jason” Taylor, 45 of Speedwell, TN passed away on April 21,2026 in Chattanooga, TN of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). He was born on October 10,1980 to Carlie Taylor and Glenda Ayers in Knoxville, TN.
He married Cassie Douglas on May 31,2014 in Hancock County, TN. He was a jack of all trades (construction worker, mechanic, farmer, and more). In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on his truck. More than anything he loved to spend time with his daughter, his "Sassy Girl". Jason was a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.
Jason is survived by wife Cassie Taylor, daughter Raven Taylor, sons Eric Daniels, Cody Swanson, Dawson Swanson, sister Ida Mae Brown, and brother Matthew Taylor.
Services to be held in Brooks Cemetery in the Hancock Community at a later date.
