Carson Venable Jr.

Mr. Carson “Junior” Venable, Jr. was born March 2, 1929 and passed away January 31, 2016 at Claiborne Medical Center. Junior was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lula and Carson Venable, Sr.; step-mother, Ruby Venable; brother, Dearl Venable and sister Geraldine Combow. Before his retirement, Junior operated Big-4 Supermarket in New Tazewell, Tennessee and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Junior loved farming, training Tennessee Walking Horses, and competing in horse shows. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Step-Daughter and Husband: Melissa and Alan Estes

Step-Grandchildren: Meredith Estes and Mathew Estes

Step-Sisters: Mildred Sharp, Ann Walker and Valalee Smith

Nieces: Jackie Rosenbalm, Kimberly Norris and Sherry Pressnell

Nephew: Shawn Combow

Special Nephew: Deral “Butch” Venable, Jr.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Fairview Cemetery
