Clay Carmony

Mr. Clay Carmony, age 63, of Mulberry Gap community, was born September 21, 1959 and went to his heavenly home on June 25, 2023 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Clay was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sillis and Viola Carmony; sisters, Betty Carmony and Bernice Golden; brother, Charles Carmony; father and mother-in-law, Frank and Ora Lee Louthan; grandson, Ryan Burchett.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Judy Carmony.

Daughters and sons-in-law: Crystal and Kenny Burchett, Kim and Jr. Langley, Sabrina and Justin Bunch.

Grandchildren: Kierstyn and Aaron Nunn, Michael Johnson, Ashlyn and Adam Richardson, Gracie Crawford, Alexis Bunch, Sadie Bunch, Destiny Langley, Michael Langley, and Brooklyn Burchett.

Great-grandchildren: Anna Richardson, Clayson and Olivia Nunn, and Kellan Ferguson.

Brothers and sisters-in-law: Jake and Caroline Carmony, Pete and Ginny Carmony, Ted and Darlene Carmony.

Sisters and brothers-in-law: Sue Taylor, Mable Carmony, Mertle and James Lawson, Stephanie and Mark Brooks.

A host of many other family and friends.

A special thank you to all of his health care providers and everyone who helped out during this difficult time.

The family will receive friends Wednesday June 28, 2023 from 6 until 9 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday June 29, 2023 at 1 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow in the Louthan Family Cemetery.
