Damon Keck

Damon Keck, born October 20, 1926, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 7, 2016 after an extended illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Wilma (Edwards) Keck. He was the loving father of Rex Keck and wife Iris, Sharon (Keck) Fishback and husband Mark; dear grandfather of Melissa (Keck) Duncan and husband Ryan, Jake Keck and wife Sindhu, and Ashley (Keck) Dec and husband Andrew; and great grandfather of Jackson Duncan, Carson Duncan and Aiden Dec. Damon is also survived by sister-in-law Ila (Edwards) Robertson and husband Bill, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by parents Henry and Edna Keck, brothers Marvin Keck and Paul Keck and sisters Fontella (Keck) Jarnagin and Alma Lee (Keck) Cherry.

Damon, Wilma and their children enjoyed family, friends and professional lives in Kokomo, IN from 1946 – 1983. A native of Claiborne County, Damon and Wilma retired to raise cattle on their farm in Goin, TN in 1983.

Family will be receiving friends at a visitation on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00PM at Coffey Funeral Home of New Tazewell, TN. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 10:00AM at Coffey Funeral Home of New Tazewell, TN, officiated by Rev. Steve Cole, followed by graveside services at Edwards Cemetery on Goin Road in New Tazewell, TN. The pallbearers are: Eric Robertson, Rex Robertson, Marvin Keck, Kevin Keck, Jake Keck, Rex Keck, Mark Fishback, Ryan Duncan and Andrew Dec
