Dillard Richard Cupp

Dillard was saved at Clouds Missionary Baptist Church at the age of 50 and later joined Duncan Chapel Baptist Church in 1997 where he was a faithful member until his health prevented him from attending. Dillard was a farmer and a former employee of England Corsair.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Imogene Widner Cupp; mother, Bertha Cupp; father, George Cupp; sister, Ethel Cupp; brother-in-law, Claiborne Monday; sister, Dorothy Cupp Green; sister, George Ann Cupp; brother, Clifford Cupp; father and mother-in-law, Elmer and Maude Widner.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Libby and Steve Barker of New Tazewell, TN.

The family will receive friends from 6-9pm Friday, March 30, 2012, at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell with funeral service at 2:00PM Saturday, March 31, 2012. Ministers: Rev. Tommy Louthan and Rev. Charlie Widner; Singers, Carson Honeycutt, Gail Duncan, Pat Neely and David and Juanita Honeycutt.

Burial: Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Shoemaker Cemetery.
