Donna Yoakum

Donna Kay Yoakum, age 68, of Forge Ridge TN, was born March 21, 1951 in Middlesboro, KY, and passed away on February 10, 2020 at Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell, TN. after a hard battle with cancer. It would be wrong to say that Donna lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. There was no quit in Donna. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn't mean she lost her fight. She was a devout and loyal to the Pentecostal Faith. Most importantly, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her mother Helen Hatfield, her brother Roy Hatfield and her grandmother Maggie Hatfield.

She is survived by her loving husband, Cyril Yoakum; her daughter, Rosemary and Will Ramsey of New Tazewell, TN; her son, T.J. and Lana Noah of Tazewell, TN; her stepdaughter, Louise Yoakum of New Tazewell, TN; sisters, Sheyvon Cantrell and Kim Baker, brother, Phillip Hatfield; brothers-in-law, Wayne and Marty Yoakum; sisters-in-law, Faye Crigger and Frances Chavis.

Grandchildren: Emily, Macy, Lindsay (Jake), Jade, Trinity, Tilton IV, Drake, Shakira, Elizabeth, Chandler and Blaine.

Her-great Grandchildren Karson and Stella Rose. She is also survived by special aunt Irene Baker and special friend Carolyn Gilbert.

The family will receive friends Thursday February 13th from 5 until 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow at 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The graveside service will be Friday February 14th at 11 AM in Irish Memorial Gardens.
