Jason is survived by his father Johnny Goldsmith, Tazewell, Tn and sister Judy Payne, New Tazewell, Tn. Brother-in-law John Payne, Lathrop, Ca. Niece Miranda Hance Mosheim, Tn and nephews Tipton, Moab, Ut, Owen and Robert Payne, Lathrop Ca. First cousins Rick and Jeramy Minton, Tazewell. And Julia Minton Pollock, Bedford, In. And his beloved dogs Buddy, Blossom, Penny and Bella. Jason is proceeded by his mother Shirley Goldsmith, brother Jake, grandparents Earnest and Meldean Goldsmith, and Ray and Lillian Barnard and Aunt Judy Barnard Minton.
Jason was a life long resident of Tazewell and attended Claiborne County high School. Jason was passionate about all things music and baseball. There will be a celebration of life service on Tuesday January 20, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell.
