Leslie Danielle Perkey

Leslie Danielle Perkey, 26, of Tazewell, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, March 12 due to a car accident. Leslie was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on April 24, 1987. She attended Claiborne County High School, Tazewell, Tennessee and graduated from Lee High School, Pennington Gap, Virginia. She attended the University of Virginia's College at Wise and Lincoln Memorial University. She was employed as a server at Woodlake Lodge, Golf and Country Club, Tazewell, Tennessee. Leslie is preceded in death by her Mother, Elaine Perkey. Upon her Mother's death, her Aunt Nancy Perkey Myers and cousin,Johnny Myers lovingly took the role of Mother and Brother. Leslie is survived by her two-year old daughter, Sophia Elaine Martin and her fiancé, Michael Martin; Nancy Perkey Myers and Johnny Myers; special Great-Aunt, Jean Wood; Special Aunt and Uncle Mike and Nancy Hansard, special cousins, Jim and Brenda Palazzolla, Jade Gallimore, Jared Palazzola, Amanda English; her Grandmother, Sterlynn Harrell, Father,Schultz Harrell and half-brother,Stephen Harrell. Leslie will be remembered as a devoted Mother and an animal lover. Her wonderful spirit, joy and beautiful smile will be sorely missed.

Services for Leslie will be held at Coffey's Funeral Home, Tazewell, TN on Saturday, March 15, with visitation from 5:00- pm until 8:00 pm and services at 8:00 pm. Burial at Jackson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leslie Perkey Memorial Fund c/o Citizen's Bank 1582 N. Broad Street, Tazewell, TN. Coffey Funeral Home in charge.
