She was saved at a young age and was a member of Lily Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Mossie was a hard worker but in her spare time she enjoyed her flower garden. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed by everyone who had the joy of knowing her. Mossie is now reunited with her loving and devoted husband of 60 years Rev. Sam Ayers.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Claiborne Health and Rehabilitation Center and to Suncrest Hospice for their excellent care of Mossie.
There will be a graveside service on Friday April 25, 2025, at 11 AM in the Drummonds Cemetery on Cupp Ridge Rd. Family requests everyone meet at Coffey Funeral Home at 10:30 to go in procession to the cemetery.
