Myrtle Vasko

Myrtle (Evans) Vasko age 98 of Speedwell, TN was born July 25, 1912 and passed away Thursday February 24, 2011 at Claiborne County Nursing Home. She was the oldest member of Red Hill Baptist Church in Speedwell, TN. She loved to quilt, work in her yard and make beads while in the Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her Parents Tip and Barshe Evans; Husband, Frank Vasko; Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Johnie & Vesta Evans, Earnest Evans, Charlie & Lula Evans, Sherman Evans; Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Hester & Ed Welch, Kathern & Rosevelt Russell, Brilla & Otto Treece, Cecil & Cart Wylie, Corta & Carl Madon.

She is survived by two Sisters-in-law: Ruby Evans of Speedwell, TN

Ethel Evans of Middlesboro, KY

22 Nieces and Nephews, Several Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday February 26, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.M. at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell, TN with Funeral service to follow at 8:00 P.M. Saturday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial at 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the Town Creek Cemetery.
