Ruby Evans

Ruby Victoria Evans age 98 of Speedwell, TN wife of the late Sherman Evans passed away Tuesday October 21, 2014 at Claiborne Hospital. She was the oldest member of Red Hill Baptist Church in Speedwell, TN. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Hose, Bill (Julie), Ditt, Otto (Opal) Earl; four sisters, Lula Gordon (Jim), Stella Honeycutt, Dollie Evans (Sam) and Mary Evans (Claude).

She is survived by one sister: Ethel Evans of Middlesboro, Ky

Sister-in-law: Pauline Earl of Speedwell, TN

Daughter: Gladys (George) Dyer of Speedwell, TN

2 sons: Joe (Betty) Evans

Roger (Carolyn) Evans all of Speedwell, TN

3 Grandchildren: Tammy (Todd) Shackleford of Tazewell, TN

Kelly (Merry Lynne) Dyer of Madison, AL

Cindy (Tim) Siler of Speedwell, TN

6 Great Grandchildren: Amber Kilgore, Cody Harrison, Caiela and Lucas Payne, Jeremy (McKenzie) and Savannah Siler

2 great great Grandchildren: Bentley Siler and Lathan Kilgore

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 P.M. Friday night at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 8:00 P.M. Friday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, TN. Graveside service 11:00 A.M. Saturday October 25, 2014 at Red Hill Cemetery.
