A providing, loving, caring mother and grandmother. Passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord with her loving family by her side. Her spirit will always live on in the hearts of those that loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Maggie Noe. Sister Beatrice Kreps. Brothers Henry, Joe, Coy, Gillis, Ray and Charles Noe.
Survived by son Eddie Cook, son and daughter-in-law who was just like a daughter Dennis and Kim Cook. Grandchildren Micah Cook and Nikki (Matthew) Sandefur who was her pride and joy, along with great grandchildren Malachi, Ean, Kamden, and Shelby Sandefur. Brother Doug Noe. Several sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ruth was saved at an early age and was Little Valley Baptist Church's first church clerk. She enjoyed singing gospel music from a young age with her brothers and continued with Kim and Nikki even as she took her Heavenly flight. She loved her sons more than anything and was the most selfless person, always making sure others had their needs met before her own. Her passing will leave a void that will never be able to be filled.
The family would like to thank Suncrest Hospice, Jay, Jennifer, Jenny, Amy, Mary Kay and Bridgette. Dr. Shields, Dr. Hammer, Dr. John Robertson, Sara Barnard and the staff of Claiborne Medical Center for the excellent care given to our mother and grandmother.
