Alan S. Rosenthal, of NYC, passed away peacefully surrounded at home by his family, on June 6, at the age of 85. He was the devoted husband of Dee for 53 years and the loving father of Eric (Stefani). Alan was an adoring Saba to Ally and Julia. He was a senior systems executive for nearly 25 years on Wall Street. Previously, he was a design engineer for small firms. Alan was a proud Cornellian (’60) with a Masters in Engineering Management from NJIT (’65). In retirement, Alan switched gears and became a docent at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He continued to study Torah with several Rabbis and weekly at his synagogue. Alan received many notes from colleagues, friends and his Emanu-El community telling him how much he meant to them. In lieu of flowers, he requested donations be made to Temple Emanu-El, NYC or to Mazon.
