Angel Rios was born August 20, 1916, in Puerto Rico. He came to the United States in 1937, one of six boys of Ricardo Rios and Secundina Rosario. He is survived by Luis Rios and his wife Fabiana. His late brothers were Ricardo, Jose, Eliseo and Juan. Angel is also survived by 10 loving nieces and nephews.
Angel Rios was an army veteran of WWII who guarded our west coast on coast guard ships during World War II.
He spent his working life in the garment district of New York City.
He was dedicated and devoted to his mother and traveled with her around the world. He cared for, and was close to, all his family.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012, at 9AM at Our Lady of Esperanza RC Church, 624 West 156th St. in New York City and he will be buried in Cypress Hills Cemetery in the family plot following the service
