Chantal Gouy

Ms. Chantal Marie-Paul Gouy returned home Sunday June 12th, 2022 at the age of 69. She was born on June 9th,1953 to Ann Marie Gouy and John Baptiste Gouy in the town of Gannet, France. She is predeceased in death by her late mother, father and nephew.

Chantal attended high school in Gannet, France after which she perused life.

In 1982 Chantal relocated to the United States to start a new life, after which she began a family. In continuing her relationship with John Jacque Marquetty they got married then separated two years after the birth of her only child, Richard Marquetty. Chantals place of residence from the time of passing was on East 82 Street in New York City.

Chantal has a thriving career as a men's hairstylist and owned her craft and salon in New York and Paris. She was well appreciated and loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her only child Richard Marquetty. Her older sister Marie Therese Gouy, younger brother Gerard Gouy and wife, their daughter Natalie and her children. There are also many other cousins, uncles, aunts and extended family who loved her dearly.
