Born on June 18, 2008 in Manhattan, Charlie brought immeasurable joy and light into the lives of those around him, especially his devoted mother, Susan Heim.
Despite facing numerous challenges throughout his short life, Charlie approached each day with remarkable resilience and an infectious spirit. He was the absolute center of his mother's world, and their bond was an extraordinary testament to unconditional love. Charlie found immense happiness in simple pleasures like horseback riding, swinging in the park, and watching his favorite shows. He had a special fondness for ice cream and all types of music.
Charlie is survived by his loving mother, Susan Heim; his aunts, Carol Policandriotes (Ted), Linda Macris, and Cindy Weed (James), and uncle Jerry Humiston as well as many cousins, great aunts and uncles, and close friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Claudette and Gerald Humiston, and Robert Heim.
