Born on March 15, 1954, Cheryl was raised in Brooklyn, New York by her mother, Gloria. While attending nursing school, Cheryl met Mitchell Patt on a park bench in Manhattan, and they became partners in life and love for over 50 years. Along the way, Cheryl gave birth to their three daughters.
She lived a life of love and devotion to her family, to her community and to her friends. She had an unyielding positivity, warmth, generosity and selflessness that impacted all who knew her and many who didn’t.
Her tireless contributions to her communities are too numerous to describe. She served on her town planning board, was president of her synagogue, and served on the executive board of the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism – just to name a few. She embodied tzedakah, mitzvot, kindness and love.
She spent her final days with her daughters before passing in her sleep next to Mitchell on August 7, 2023. She was laid to rest on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 surrounded in love by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Mitchell, their daughters Rebecca, Eileen, and Linda, sons-in-law and grandchildren. They miss her more than words can describe, but are blessed to carry her memory with them forever.
