Your Dad--and Grand Dad--represented the absolute best of his generation and our lifetime; he was a leader and wise guardian and illustrious representative of every major institution I hold dear in our city: from Episcopal and Buckley Schools, to St. James' Church,  Lenox Hill Hospital, down to the Racquet Club, where I saw him so often.  What a giant, what a gent!  I shall miss him, but no one has better earned eternal rest.  With deep condolences to the family he loved so much, and loved him so much--
