Edwin Weidman, of New York City, died peacefully on November 15, 2021 at the age of 94. Born in Philadelphia and raised in the Bronx, Ed graduated from James Monroe High School and served in the US Navy for two years before marrying the late Lucy (Katz) Weidman. A graduate of St. John’s and NYU Law Schools, Ed had a long and distinguished career as a trial attorney seeking justice for injured persons and their families. His many professional honors included serving on the Board of Governors of the American Trial Lawyers Association and being selected to the International Society of Barristers. Ed was a kind, generous man with many close friends and an adoring family. His interests included cooking and a lifelong love of classical music and jazz. Ed is survived by his children, James (Marsha), Peter (Debbi), David (Debbie), and Jennifer (Barry), nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Funeral services are private.
