Elizabeth Goldsmith, age 67, of Manhattan, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 12, 2025. A devoted wife, a doting mother, and a dear friend to all who knew her, Liz left us suddenly and far too soon.
Tirelessly selfless and giving, she was an infinite source of love, empathy, kindness and generosity. A true New Yorker, she achieved significant success in the garment industry. She is preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn, her father, Edward, and her sister, Ilene.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Michael, her two sons, Andrew and Jonathan -- whom she considered her greatest achievement and loved more than anything -- and her loyal dog, Murphy. She will be deeply, deeply missed. May her memory be a blessing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to animal rescue organizations in Liz's honor.
