I was devastated to learn today of Dr. Klion’s passing. His expert care has lead me to have  a healthy life.  When Dr. Klion retired, he gave me his home number in case I needed him. His concern for his patients was endless. Dr Klion was my physician for over twenty years and during that time we became friends. I felt I knew his children  and that he knew mine. We shared interests  and he encouraged my fly fishing. I admired his intelligence, his character, his compassion  and his devotion to his patients. Dr Klion was an incredible doctor and an incredible man.

Dear Mrs. Klion.
 i was deeply saddened to learn of Dr. Klion's passing. Please accept my heartfelt  condolences during this difficult time. 

Dr Klion was a truly remarkable person, kind, caring , patient and so easy to talk to. His warmth and wisdom made every conversation so pleasant. I  also learned so much about Dr. Klion's life from the stories he loved to tell, One that I particularly enjoyed was a recounting of his Bar Mitzvah in a synagogue in Boro  Park. He was required to give his speech in Yiddish. He memorized it meticulously and delivered it with expression and  fluency not understanding a word of what he was saying. In fact,  he could be persuaded to deliver that same speech today remembering every word.

May Dr Klion's memory serve as an inspiration to  his family,  his patients, and the many people who admired him as  a skilled diagnostician and a compassionate physician . He  made our world kinder by virtue of his example.I will always remember him with great respect and affection. May his memory serve as a blessing.

I am so sorry to hear about Frank’s passing. He was both a friend and a mentor to me from the time I started working at Mount Sinai 30 years. He will be missed!

Joanne and I share our deepest sympathy for Uncle Frank's passing. He leaves a legacy to be proud of at Mt. Sinai and a lifetime of warm memories for our family. He was always our family's private consultant..the innumerable times the phrase, "call Frank" yielded wise, comforting and knowledgeable advice for several of our generations.

It says a great deal about Frank and Barbara that both of their children chose to follow in Frank's footsteps and become physicians.

I want to share one vivid image from 60+ years ago. At the end of a family day at his parents' home, it was Frank and Barbara, sitting in Frank's convertible T-Bird in the Westfield driveway. With a "James Bond'ish" flourish, he waved goodbye and roared away...

We'll miss you.

Our parents' friendship with Barbara and Frank goes back to New York Medical College days. They treasured their visits with the Klions over the years (we all did!). Wishing we were able to jump on a train and be with you tomorrow. Much love to Barbara, Mark,  Amy and families.
