Howard came into our lives, through Marilyn, about 25 years ago, and our admiration of him, and pleasure in becoming his friend, grew stronger as the years went by.  A frequent dinner and theater companion, he was a raconteur without parallel, regaling us with stories about his life in the theater and his adventures in New York in its heyday.  Howard's ever-ready smile gave proof of his joy in his life with Marilyn and made our world a better place.  We will miss him.

       In particular, men were naturally drawn to Howard. He had a quiet strength about him and a sense of take charge that breathed the message, “Everything is under control”.  He was truly ‘A Man's Man”.

 But also, in no small measure, a sensitive and caring friend and source of good counsel and wisdom.  

 I will forever remember and miss his gleeful eyes and impish smile.

So many years have passed. I  moved to Canada over 20 years ago and lost touch with Howard.

I have and will always count his friendship and belief in me to be a great blessing.
