

Jose Eduardo Andrade, 79, died October, 24th, 2021 at his country home in Westport, Connecticut.
Mr. Andrade was born July, 5th,1942 in New York, New York to Eduardo and Felicia Andrade. A lifelong New Yorker, Mr. Andrade was a graduate of Brooks School and attended Union College and UCLA, as well as a graduate of the OPM Program at Harvard Business School in 1991.
For over 55 years he worked at Thomas Publishing Company, founded by his grandfather, Harvey Mark Thomas, in 1898. Mr. Andrade served as Chairman of the Board from 1975 until his death. In addition to his love for Thomas Publishing Company, he was a boating, photography, and target-shooting enthusiast.
Mr. Andrade is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Malle Tarto Andrade; sons and their spouses, Jose and Catherine (Perman) Andrade, Eduardo and Christine (McKendry) Andrade; grandsons Eduardo and Drewett Andrade.
Mr. Andrade was a true gentleman. He was loved and respected by countless friends, colleagues, and acquaintances regardless of whether he knew them for years or a moment.

A funeral service will occur Friday, October 29, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola Church, 980 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10028. A private interment will occur.
