SCALICI, Josephine, of Staten Island, N.Y., died peacefully at age 87 at Calvary Hospice, Manhattan, on February 26, 2016, with her daughter at her side. Sister of Marie Brand, Joseph Depperman, Anthony Depperman, and Grace Roby. Predeceased by husband Carmelo (Mel) in 1981 and sister Lillian Scalici in 2002. Loving mother of sons Joseph, Steven, daughter Susan and two grandchildren. Beloved Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Josephine was a jeweler, together with her husband, a gemologist, owned and operated their own jewelry business, was greatly loved and will be missed by many.Visitation at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1076 Madison Avenue, New York, N.Y., Wednesday, March 2, 2016, 6pm-9pm. Catholic Memorial Mass at Holy Family Chapel at Mary Manning Walsh Home, 1339 York Avenue, New York, N.Y., Thursday March 3, 2016, at 9:30am. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Staten Island, N.Y.
