June Rose Pintchik died on 8/13/21 at her home in Manhattan. She was 93 years old. Gifted with a life that included her beloved husband of 35 years (Jack Pintchik who died in 1982), and her partner and dear companion of 36 years, Robert Mofenson, she also dearly loved, and in turn was loved by her three children and three grandchildren. Her family, as well as her close circle of friends appreciated her welcoming presence, her warmth, and grace. June was kind, generous, loyal, and a lifelong chocoholic. After raising her family on Long Island, she moved to Manhattan later in life and grew to love all that the city had to offer. Witty, sweet, and stoic to the end, she finished every conversation with her children with: “Take care of yourself; that’s what is most important to me.” She will be greatly missed. Survivors include her children Leslie Pintchik (and her husband Scott Hardy), Michael Pintchik (and his wife Laura Pintchik), Matthew Pintchik (and his wife Sue Pintchik); her three grandchildren Zachary (and his wife Mariana Vincenti Urdaneta), Tess, and Jack; and her partner Robert Mofenson. The family wishes to extend its gratitude to the women Susie, Debbie, Grace, Chandra, and Cheryl who provided wonderful companionship and care for her at home during the past year. Should one wish, contributions may be made in June Pintchik’s memory to Doctors Without Borders.
