I am very sad to see this.  Unfortunately a bunch of people she knew were unaware.  We are praying for her family and very close friends at this time.  Again I am very sorry I was not aware until now!

I can honestly say I had some of my most cherished memories and laughs with Lauren. Whether it was going to the Madonna concert and pretending we were press in order to sit in the front row to doing Tarot Readings for drag queens at Chelsea Pier, Lauren was constantly a star. She was always the first person strangers would approach due to her warm presence and nonjudgmental nature.  She was wise beyond her years and was a talented author and artist. Her writing captured her creative spirit and wonderful sense of humor. I will always appreciate the experiences and lessons that I learned from my dear friend.
