Lee Richard Robins, 83, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Lee leaves behind a legacy of professional excellence and deep familial love.
Born on August 20, 1942, in Trenton, New Jersey, Lee was the son of Louis Robins and Shirley Frances Robins. He grew up in a nurturing home that valued education and hard work—principles that would guide him throughout his life. A graduate of Pennsbury High School, Lee went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Penn State University. His academic achievements laid the foundation for a distinguished career in financial planning.
Lee was a Certified Public Accountant and the founder and CEO of Conceptual Planning Incorporated (CPI), an accounting and tax practice renowned for its expertise in serving high-net-worth individuals with an emphasis on estate and trust matters. Under his leadership, CPI became an established name in wealth management, known for its integrity and personalized service. Lee’s dedication to his clients and his profession earned him widespread respect within the industry.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Lee was deeply committed to his family. He shared 61 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Lenore Robins. Together they built not only a life but also a cherished retreat from their upper east side Manhattan apartment —a country home in White Lake, New York—where countless memories were made with their children and grandchildren.
Lee is survived by his wife Lenore; sons Steven Robins and Jason Robins; daughters-in-law Jill Cohn Robins and Kristin Nowak Robins; grandchildren Alexandra, Lucas, Parker, and Ariella; and his brother Sandor J. Robins, MD.
An avid tennis player and golfer, Lee found joy both on the court and the green. Yet perhaps nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his family at their White Lake home, a place filled with laughter, stories, games and love.
Known for his sharp wit and unwavering loyalty, Lee had a remarkable ability to bring warmth into every room he entered. His sense of humor brightened lives and created bonds that endured through decades.
A service honoring Lee’s life will be held at a later date in New York City.
May the memory of Lee Richard Robins bring comfort to all who knew him. His legacy lives on through the family he loved so dearly and the many lives he touched with kindness and generosity.
