Happy 111th birthday Danette! 
You left us when you were 103 
but you’re never far away from me. 
Loving teacher, mentor, friend- I cherish the memories of the time we spent.

and being like family we were all one.

I met Leila during my college years, in the mid 90's.  She introduced me to meditation, Reiki healing, Omega conferences, and to the works of so many great authors like Andrew Weil and Gary Zukav.
I referred to her as my adopted grandmother.  I always thought of her as an angel on earth.  What a light she was, what a beautiful soul to know.  She will always have a special place in my heart. RIP, dear Leila!

It was my honor and privelge to have known the fabulous and inspiring Leila . She was my neighbor and friend for over 25 years, We went to many Omega conferences and shared notes hungrily.. I was part of her meditation circle in her apt and marveled at her deep wisdom and love of truth. I will never for get her. I miss her already...
