Linda Rose Jacobs was born Linda Rose Delvitt on February 20, 1944 in Manhattan. She was the second child and 1st daughter of the late Mr. Clement and Mrs, Rose Delvitt. Her love for sports and athletics began early and she participated in swimming, track, tennis and bowling. Linda also had many hobbies and was a talented gardener, crocheter and seamstress.; many will remember her for her regal sense of dress and the dignified way in which she carried herself.Always a hard worker, she had her first job at 15. she excelled in many career fields before becoming a stenographer for the New York Department of Transportation. She was a loyal employee and worked there for 24 years before retiring in 2012. Linda was respectable, generous and lovable. She enjoyed traveling and quality time with friends and family. She was a caring, kind-hearted person who was always willing to lend a helping hand, even if it meant going out of her way. You never doubted where you stood with her, she always had a smile on her face and was known for her sense of humor. she was a devoted mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend. Her presence will be missed. Her surviving family includes, her husband, Vernon Graham; her daughters, Angelic Jacobs, Brenda Graham, Sharon Malloy, Barbara Graham; her siblings, Ronald Delvitt, Andre Delvitt, and Marcellus Oyola; her nieces and nephews, Manuel Oyola, Isiah Oyola, Nisette Oyola, Zaidayaa Graham, Lisette Jenkins, Luna Graham, Matthew Garey, Andre Delvitt Jr., and Dametriius Garey; Cousins, Russell Jacquet-Acea, Lisa Delvitt Jr., Jon, Yvette Egas-Berthoumieux, Robert Jr., Juanita Egas-McGruder, Leona Acea and Gwen Egas and her in-laws, Louis Graham, Elgin Graham, Lee Graham, Rick Graham, Joseph Graham, and Doris Hudson.
