Marcel was a close friend since our days as together at INSEAD 1979
We were fond of his love of life and special sense of humor. Together with Marcel and later with Jeanette we shared some good times and not so good ones.
We were together in Septmber 2017 on the INSEAD 1979 trip. Marcel was in pain during the trip and none of us could imagine what it meant.

Dear Alessandro and Sabrina, Marcel was not only a client but had become a dear friend with who I shared a number of great memories over the last few years....I was still until recently looking forward and waiting for a date for us to go for dinner together from his last texts... Marcel always spoke to me with so much pride about you both......you can count on me for any assistance you may need.....Marcel's good spirit and love of life will be dearly missed.....  

Dear Alessandro and Sabrina, dear Mrs Giacometti, dear family,
Marcel was my first boss and mentor at JPMorgan in Zurich, and he shared his apt with me when I was booted out of mine....so many beautiful memories of times spent with him, and later Jeanette, too, on your PH terrace in NYC. I will never forget Marcel's always positive attitude, can-do, optimistic, easy-going, uncomplicated...I mourn with you his passing, and send my heartfelt condolences.

To Marcels family
I was at INSEAD with Marcel and we were on the same CBMP training program at JP Morgan We will all miss his enthusiastic joie de vivre; his generosity; his love for his family and friends. I will always treasure the time a couple of years ago when he opened up the balcony on his wonderful home in New York to welcome and entertain all his CBMP colleagues.
We will miss him dreadfully and I send my sincerest condolences to you.
