Mariantha was born on August 19th, 1956, and spent most of her life living in New York. She attended the High School of Music and Art and later Tuoro College, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She dedicated the majority of her life serving as a Physician’s Assistant in predominantly underprivileged communities in Harlem and the Bronx. Later in life she expanded her expertise into medical cosmetics and enjoyed running her own aesthetician business, helping others feel beautiful about themselves.
Throughout her entire life, she searched for community and was able to find that through the Jewish faith. At one point in her life, Lincoln Park Jewish Center was home and the congregation her family.
Graveside funeral services will be held at the Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus, New Jersey at 11:30 AM on Thursday, June 9th.
