She was the beloved mother of Teri Michigan and the late Dr. Andrew Samach, mother-in-law to MaryJane, wonderful stepmother to Alfred, Brad, and John, and devoted grandmother to Ed, Carly, Zachary, Alessandra, Amanda, Scott, Kate, Ben, Sam, and Gabe. The epitome of elegance and good taste, she had an infectious joie de vivre, and loved to travel - always making new friends along the way. She was a creative woman with many talents: a teacher, decorator, legal recruiter, event planner, and an aspiring writer. She will be missed and lovingly remembered. Services Monday, June 11th at 11:30am at Riverside Memorial Chapel,180 W. 76th St. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Shiva will be held Monday 6:30-9 and Tuesday 6-9.
