We will miss our Mary,she was funny, smart and oh,so generous. What great fun we had listening to her stories. God is smiling with you, Mary, and what a happy reunion with Jane and Tom.

Mary.  You are now in God's Garden delivered of pain and disappointment.  You are regaling all with tales of daring do for oh did you dare to do. Your zest for life and all it offered will be so sorely missed by your world of family, admirers and friends. You touched us all with your gentle kindness and ribald good humor.  Rest in Peace you beautiful Colleen.

Mary,whose generosity and love of family was a focus of her life.  She was incredibly proud of her two nephews and their children. The deaths of Jane and Tom broke her heart but with her through it all was her dearest and oldest friend, Betty, along with Betty's children and grandchildren. Mary loved you all.  She will never be forgotten.

My deepest condolences to the family of Mary McDermott, my high school classmate, and longtime friend. Without the wonderful Mary Louis Academy, we never would have met.  Luckily, Mary and I shared some time at St. John's University in Hillcrest, Jamaica, NY.  We car-pooled!  Lots of diet coke and hilarity on our way down Union Turnpike to make the 9 AM classes we had! We remained in touch over the years and shared reunions and New York City dinners with other gals from TMLA.  Mary was the ring-leader, always.  God bless her.  Please let me know if I may have an address for her Florida family.
