85, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 12, 2018 from complications related to liver cancer. Devoted husband of Kathy, cherished father of Pamela (Todd), adoring grandfather of Benjamin and Andrew, and loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. After retiring from his career as a TV commercial special effects master, he channeled his creative energies to restoring and adapting antiques. His many passions included politics, food and movies both old and new. Many will be shocked to learn his true age, as he took pride in always appearing and living a life more youthful than his years. He continually developed ideas for and completed large-scale projects at home and dearly loved his weekend house in Westhampton, NY. A true Mr. Fix- it, he could always find a unique and novel way to fix or repair anything. He was always happy to give advice and share information with legions of devoted friends. He will be missed and never forgotten. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 15th at 12:00pm at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 180 West 76th Street.
