Paul died January 7th after a brief illness while on family vacation in the Dominican Republic. He was the loving husband of Lisa Sharkey, devoted father of Greg, Doug, and Casey, doting son of Phyllis Marcus and Norman Gleicher, caring brother of Warren Gleicher, amazing brother-in-law to Pamelah and Tiger Antoine, Tina Sharkey, and Amy Gleicher, beloved son-in-law of Edward and Pat Sharkey, Art Sherman and the late Mona Sherman, and Seymour Marcus, step-brother to Larry (Joan) and Elliot (Karen) Marcus and fun-loving uncle to Jacob and Charlie Goldstein and Jon (Helen), Adam (Nikki) and Max Gleicher. Paul was an incredibly well-respected architect, serving as Founder and President of Gleicher Design and Architecture. His kind, gentle, loving spirit will live on in all of us forever. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 11th at 11am at the Riverside Memorial Chapel on 76th St. and Amsterdam Ave. in Manhattan. Contributions in his memory may be made to The Paul Gleicher Dreaming Green Scholarship at College of Architecture, Washington University in St. Louis.
