Susan Gordon Family - our sincerest condolences on your loss.

Susan  was  an amazing and  special lady to all  – and our  family was so lucky to have her in our lives and hearts for almost 50 years! 
I remember the first day I met Susan.  We were rookies at KPMG on the Singer account. She was a liberal arts student getting into accounting and finance. We spent a year adjusting and learning the accounting ropes together. She and my wife Eileen bonded quickly and so tightly. From day one, Susan treated us and made us feel like her best friends – that was Susan! 
We look back with  fond memories of the summer trips to Susan’s family farm – a bit “rustic”, but with a great group of friends and with Susan supplying food in abundance, “drinks on the house”, her limitless generosity, hospitality and  laughs galore.
Susan’s amazing genuineness  brought a positive and unique perspective to us and all she met. She was so smart, yet she was fun, funny and self-deprecating. Her life was so busy, yet she was always warm and generous to all with her time and resources.
Eileen and I were lucky to catch up with Susan this April  after years of missing opportunities! And Susan was still the same Susan. She had just battled through a terrible illness, yet she wanted to hear most about our family.
We will miss Susan. Sue leaves amazing and lasting memories with us and our family. She will always be remembered and remain in our hearts.

our Education programs at Jazz at Lincoln Center was infectious.
My memories are filled with Susan's jubilation as we observed 
students in our Essentially Ellington program.  Susan was an inspiration and a joy to work with.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Susan from her sister Diane Gordan Cannon.  Susan was such a kind generous strong person. She loved her family and friends. What a loss to the world but a gain to heaven. Rest in Peace until we all meet again.  Kalo Taxidi.

Condolences & prayers  from the entire Osceola County School for the Arts family... I first met Susan—whom my students and I affectionately called “Miss Susan”—four years ago at the Essentially Ellington festival. In the months leading up to our first meeting, while I was preparing my students for our trip to New York, our assistant principal often shared stories of Miss Susan’s remarkable generosity. She lived up to every word. She loved our school and my students. Each year there were several new students in the band, but she somehow instantly loved them all the same. She always showered us with her generosity, her love & her hugs! She had the power to transform the space around her - like a pillar of light & happiness warming every heart in her proximity. Miss Susan, you will be forever missed but never forgotten. Thank you for changing our world 💜

My condolences to Susan's family.  I first met Susan in 1982 at Viacom and have never forgotten her loyalty and dedication to her family and staff.  She was always there to support and encourage everyone around her.   May she rest in eternal peace.

Prayers & condolences from the Leahy/Dillon families! My mom, Ellen Dillon Leahy so loved her cousin Mary Ellen & all of her children.  Such fond memories of the Rileyville house still to this day.

Susan was a woman that I can turn to when I needed to talk, and looked out for me when I needed her the most. She taught me so much during my time at Jazz. I will never forget her. She will be forever missed but she has left an impression that could never be forgotten.
