OMG! I just found out Bryan was gone!! OMG… He was such a loving, caring, kind, decent human being. I went to a Dodger game with him and he brought his daughter. Such a great loving father. Damn, the LAPD, the world has lost a great one. My condolences to his family and may God wrap his arms around “Little Red”

Bryan worked with me at Van Nuys Station back in 1999 when I was a probationary sergeant. He was in my den several times and was a pleasure to supervise.  He was a hardworking young officer.  He always completed the assignments I asked of him in an exemplary manner.   Many community members commended him for helping them in their time of need.  He showed compassion and empathy on those less fortunate.  I last spoke to him several months before I retired.  He still had that contagious smile and warm personality that i remember.   Bryan, my friend,  rest in peace, you will be missed.

I first met Bryan while working a overtime detail at LAX airport sometime after 9/11. I went to the substation & was greeted with a big smile & he asked if he could help me. We shook hands & he helped me find some paperwork i was looking for. From that day forward he was with out a doubt one of the most respectful police officers i have ever met. He always had a smile & kind words. I was glad when he made motors & came to vtd as a BCMC. He wore his badge proud  & was a great motor cop. He will be missed by all who knew him. Bryan as the oldest son of my dearest friend was like a nephew, in fact he called me Uncle David.  Last May he surprised Betty and I by showing up in Tennessee while we were visiting his folks.  Now that time with him means all the more to us.  During that visit Bryan told of his faith in Christ and I know I will see him again.

Bryan, god needed a special angle in heaven so he chose you, bryan was a great neighbor always ready to help with anything ,I would see him almost every day, he would come over with that great smile and happy laugh. We missed him when he moved and we still do. R.I.P

Bryan was one of my oldest and most trusted friends. He was also one of the most generous and loyal friends I’ve ever known. When you were with him... he made you feel as if you were the most important person he knew. He loved people and enjoyed expressing his love for them. Bryan was love in action, love with hands, feet, and arms. He had a large and inclusive heart that always had room for another friend. He friendship was a gift from God and he will be greatly missed.

Bryan was an inspiration of positivity. Always had a smile, kind words and support for everyone. He was a good friend of more than 20 years. We have so many good memories together, both on and off the job. You will be greatly missed. Love you brother BCMC 

I met Bryan at work and I have to say he was a genuine friend.  He was funny and it was a pleasure to work with him.  Rest In Peace my friend.  

Cousin, I wish we had lived closer and had more time. You were always a great asset  to the family. I miss you. I will remember riding horses and talking life.

One word to describe Bryan ...unique!!! Bryan Sudbery was for sure Gods wild flower, and for many of us  who have not had the privilege to encounter wild flowers,  it can be challenging. 
Bryan was bigger than life, if he considered you his friend you became part of his family instantly, he created this incredible bond/ friendship  with the people he loved.  We have know Bryan & his family for many years, we shared many memories together.   He loved-his family with a passion.  Bryan Sudbery & his family will always be part of the ACOSTA family.  As we say goodbye to our brother  Bryan, let’s make our goal to find Gods wild flowers.  

Bryan was like a brother to me, we spoke on the phone almost every day. He was a man with a BIG heart, if you took a minute to get to know him you would see what I saw. All he wanted was to be your friend and would give you the shirt off his back. Always running around with his “hair on fire” and had a million things to tell you in one minute! He liked to work hard and play harder, he had a toy for every occasion and had a great appetite for life. He always sacrificed for his family and worked hard to provide for them.
I’m going to miss all the good times we had my brother. 

Bryan was a true friend/partner, he always had my back. The biggest heart that a guy could ever have. He would drop everything to come help me when I called. We talked on the phone once a week and I really miss not hearing his voice. He constantly talked about his kids and the things they were doing, he was very proud of them. A good man, a good father and truly a good friend. I miss you buddy 

Eldest & most caring son, always ready to uplift you  in any situation. 

I'm so brokenhearted, I knew Bryan from high school and we were in the same youth group from First Southern Baptist Church of Palmdale, he was always a kind hearted guy and I have so many fond memories of those days.
RIP and God Speed Sweet friend, until we meet again in heaven. Heaven gained an amazing angel.

Bryan was a great guy and always full of so much energy.  During the academy, he would always be the one to encourage you  during the hardest of times.  He would never look down on you.  He was full of laughter and would always give me a great big hug and a solid handshake anytime he would see me. You will be missed my friend. RIP. 

I ALWAYS LOVED WORKING WITH BRIAN ANY CHANCE I WAS GIVEN. I REMEMBER ALL THE TIMES WE WORKED OUR MTA OVERTIME , HE WAS SUCH A GREAT PARTNER WITH ALWAYS HAVING A UPBEAT POSITIVE ATTITUDE.  LAST THING HE SAID TO ME WAS HIM THANKING ME FOR BEING IOD SO HE CAN HAVE ALL THE OVERTIME BECAUSE I WAS UNABLE TO WORK THEM 😌 HIS JOKES AND MEMORIES WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART, RIP BUDDY GOD HAS YOU NOW

‘Bryan with a Y’! Is what he would say to customers at the counter with an infectious smile and his signature laugh ! He liked to make all our customers his friends because he genuinely liked people! A high five on your way out would be expected and the old guys would say ‘can’t you just shake hands?’ We would all laugh cause we knew the old guy didn’t like people! Bryan was never sick a day in his life!!??? He didn’t get sick he told me! LOL! A lot of great memories!

Bryan my brother we worked together for many years you always had my back and took good care of me as a partner and friend for that I will always be grateful I will pray for you my friend  and your family 

I was Team Captain of B2V VTD/ VNYS 2008 team. Bryan was such a big help. He always had a huge smile on his face. He agreed to run any leg I gave him and even helped me plan the legs for the other runners. He ended up with a challenging leg and never complained. His big smile, willingness to help and devotion to his friends and co-workers will be missed. Thanks for being a great friend Bryan. I pray you Rest In Peace forever with our Lord and Savior. 

I’ll always remember my academy classmate and friend for  his positivity, high energy and big  heart.  Rip Bryan.
