

Caliseo Daniel Di Valerio , “Cal” Passed on November 29, 2011 at the age of 86. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, he was a graduate of Havertown High School, served in the United States Marine Corps in the Pacific during World War II and played football for Penn St upon his return from the war. He is survived by his three children, Pam Washburn (Lorey)of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, Bruce Di Valerio (Pam) of Stevenson Ranch California, Scott Di Valerio (Shara) of Sammamish Washington, his sister Emma Frustaci from Havertown, Pennsylvania and brother Anthony Di Valerio of Westchester Pennsylvania, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many other beloved relatives and friends. Cal, his wife Dolores along with Pam and Bruce moved to California in 1958 and began working as a prop maker in the studios shortly thereafter. Cal worked in the studio until his retirement as a Construction Coordinator in 1996. Cal was known as a hardworking, passionate and fun loving man who could build almost anything. In his spare time and retirement he liked to “putter around” in the yard taking care of his many plants. A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday December 28th, at Eternal Valley Memorial Park 23287 North Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA .
