My prayer is for his family and friends to cherish the memory of Chuck. We weep because we'll miss them, but we rejoice because they are in a better place. I worked with Chuck at West Hollywood Station, I remembered he was always there to back up his partners no matter what. If you were a Deputy he had your back. I saw him recently after 20 plus years and he recognized me after all this time. We spoke for a short time and caught up. I had the opportunity to thank him for all the help he gave me,

I was saddened to read the news about the passing of Chuck. I'm a retired reserve deputy who worked alongside him at West Hollywood station when he first started in patrol. I was always impressed with his police work. I haven't seen him in 30 years but do remember him.
