Sorry to see that Chris had passed please accept my condolences. Chris was a classmate and teammate from Johnson Creek class of 83. We also had gone to UW-W and I am sorry we lost touch over the years.
Good memories of Chris include frying liver at his family's home and hearing how his Mom couldn't stand the smell.
Attending the World Series of Rock concert together and of course drinking beers out in the sticks.

I taught all the waldochs in high school science Robyn then went on to teach Spanish She was in the same school district as my wife Ginger Kurt was a tall guy who liked to fight with Chris  Chris went on to university of whitewater and played football He did a good job there and met a lot of new friends Mr and Mrs Waldoch always came to school functions and backed their sons and daughter He was a tall  man as I remember A great family who lived out in the country

My heart goes out to Chris's family. Chris and I were never really good friends back in school, but I can remember when his family first came to Johnson Creek...or at least when he first started coming to our school. Our class was in 6th grade, and I remember my best friend Scott and I were behind the school on swings trying to size up the "new kid". 

He was clearly bigger than either me or Scott, so we gave him a little ribbing while we were still on the swings, but not in a cruel manner. I can still remember Chris just smiling, and that both Scott and I had given him a "thumbs-up". He had to be a good guy! We had a little conversation, but who knows what a couple of 6th-grade boys were talking about? I just remember thinking that it was a good thing we didn't make him mad with our little ribbing!

We spent the next 6 years as classmates, and I can honestly say that I don't remember ever having a bad memory of Chris. We were on the track team as Freshmen together. Our team was so small that everyone had to do several events.  Chris was both the discus and shotput athlete for our team, and I don't recall what happened, but when it came time for our conference meet, Chris couldn't participate. I think he was injured or something, so my track coach made me take his place. Of course, I didn't take his place, I just stood in his spot! I was terrible at both of these events, and I ended up getting dead last in the shotput, and 2nd last in the discus. I wasn't embarrassed or anything, but I remember wishing Chris was there so we had someone from our school that could better represent us than me! Chris actually had a chance to continue to regionals in shotput.

It's hard to believe that it's now been 38 years since I last saw Chris, and even though we were never close friends, I'll always have the memory of this good-natured guy etched in my memory. I'm sure Chris is looking down on his family with that big smile of his. I will be sure to say a prayer for you all.





So sorry to hear of Christopher’s passing.  My prayers go out to the family.  I went to high school with Chris and a few of us hung out in Whitewater when he was in college.  And like most, we lost touch when he moved to California. He was a fun and sweet guy.  I am sure he continued those traits and he’ll be missed immensely.

My deepest sympathies got out to Chris's family. So sad to hear of his passing.
Chris and I played football together in college and became close friends. Some of my best memories from that time include and were because of Chris. 
I visited him in California several times and though life and distance caused us to loose contact, I consider him a cherished friend.
My prayers go out to all of Chris' family.

Christopher was a wonderful person. Always quick to smile or laugh...and always there to lend a helping hand.  I graduated with Chris in 1983, I only very recently caught up with him, I was not lucky enough to learn about his family before he passed.  I can't imagine their loss. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends...we were all very lucky to have met Chris, no matter what the year or decade.  It is nice to know that he is in heaven and watching over all of us. 

Young, big, and strong ....St Peter needed help with those Pearly Gates and Chris went to lend a hand, with a smile.
