Beloved brother, uncle, and friend
Donn Gale Pfefferkorn, age 73, passed away at home in Agua Dulce, California on November 12, 2023. Donn was born on April 15, 1950 in Kent, Washington, to parents Otto Thomas “Tommy” and Helen (Lundgren) Pfefferkorn, who precede him in death.
A graduate of Federal Way High School in Washington State, he pursued a career in television and film production prior to his retirement.
Donn, who lived in Agua Dulce for over four decades, was a helpful and selfless member of the community. Known for his love of animals, Donn owned and cared for many cats in his neighborhood over the years and stepped up to help ensure the safety of his neighbors’ horses during the 2020 Soledad Fire.
Donn is survived by his brothers, Charles and Glenn (Janet) Pfefferkorn, and his nieces, Riana (Aaron), Ashley (Zac), and Lisa Pfefferkorn.
A celebration of life will be held at the Cowboy Tavern in Santa Clarita from 12 to 2 pm on Saturday, December 2.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lange Foundation’s St. Bonnie’s Sanctuary animal rescue in Canyon Country, California.
