Donna Jean Ward passed away in her sleep to natural causes. Born in Chicago, Illinois, she moved to California and worked for the telephone company for 25 years. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining guests, and being a wonderful homemaker. She was tough and gentle as only a loving mother would know how to be. She was very level-minded and knew how to cope with loss. During her first husband's death, she held the family together in difficult times. We were all blessed by a new father figure to emerge to us. Her husband, Edward, has seemed to make the heartbreaking loss of losing a father, more of a welcoming of a second father we never thought possible. We are all grateful to have them in our hearts. She is survived by her husband Edward, Sons David and Douglas, sisters Jan, Nancy, Sue, and Cindy, and three grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, March 3rd at 10:00 am at Eternal Valley Memorial Park. God Bless you all for your support, and in keeping her memory alive forever.
