Frances Marie Lentz, dubbed “Francy” by her husband, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at Henry Mayo Hospital in Valencia, CA. She bravely battled cancer for close to two years. She will be laid to rest on September 19, 2014 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park at 23287 Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA. There will be a chapel service for her that starts at 11am all are welcome.
Frances was born in Erie, PA on October 4, 1933. She married her girlhood sweetheart “Tommy” Thomas Lentz, who preceded her to heaven in April of 2013. After raising her three children she went and got a job with the College of the Canyons when they were just in temporary trailer housing, where she worked for the next 25 years and retired as Administrator to the Dean of Admissions. She loved that job and the people she had the joy to work with and help every day.

Her 3 children, sons: David (Wendey) Lentz, Charles (Candy) Lentz, and daughter, Lorrie (Stephen) Townsend; granddaughters: Laci Lane & Kelty Hunt; great-grandsons: Jordan, Adrian & Jackson, and one new granddaughter on the way. Niece: Dr. Karen Lee Rathburn. Brothers: Joseph and Raymond Hickel
